I have spent so many hours taking photos of London that I thought I would highlight some of the results in this short post. I decided to feature images not currently available through our website, although this may change in future.
The first features Battersea Power Station. The building is one of my favourites in London. Lets see what happens to it as it is redeveloped in the next few years.
The second features City Hall and Tower Bridge at night. City Hall is the home of the Mayor of London. It looks quite beautiful when floodlit.
The next photo of London features St Pauls Cathedral. This is perhaps not the best aspect of the landmark, but I really liked the sky that evening.
Image number four features Tower Bridge. This wonderful bridge looks so much better at night when it is lit. What do you think of the traffic trails? I think they make a nice addition to the shot.
The final image features Canary Wharf at dawn. I like to photograph London from the River Thames when the tide is out. Conditions on this morning were perfect.
I photograph locations all over the world. But it is my work in my home city of London that attracts most interest. There is a large collection on the Mr Smith World Photography website. But if you would like to see more or need photos of London you cannot find anywhere else please call. When I am in the UK I shoot in London three times a week and it is easy for me to add other locations when I am in the city.
