A Fab day out with Sexy Sadie

A long weekend in Liverpool (and what a fine city). The undoubted highlight was our visit to many Beatles landmarks on a Fab Four Taxi Tour. Our journey took us through many parts of the city  of Liverpool and its suburbs to many of the buildings that where important in the history of the group that changed music forever. We visited the homes of John, Paul, George and Ringo, the registry office where two generations of Lennons married and landmarks which featured in many Beatles songs. I cannot recommend the tour highly enough – I’m sure all the guides are excellent, but ours, Peter, was amazing. What he can’t tell you about the Beatles can’t be worth knowing. And Sexy Sadie – she was our taxi, one of a fleet of nine named after Beatles related ladies. If you’re in Liverpool you must give the tour a try. Here are just four of the landmarks we visited…
